A Day of Thanksgiving: Honoring the Spirit That Shaped a Nation
Saturday, June 27
Set against the timeless beauty of Valley Forge, this unique day will bring together history, reflection, faith and fellowship as we pause to give God thanks for His providence and the enduring sacrifices that brought us independence, liberty, and peace.
The day will feature:
2 pm - Outdoor screening of the newly released film A Great Awakening (Concessions will be available in the Cabin Shop Café). The Chapel is featured in the movie!
5 pm - Evensong in the Chapel with special guest speaker Ret. Brigadier General Ed Brandt and the Rt. Rev. G.P. Daniel Gutiérrez, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania.
Parking will be available in the main lot facing Valley Forge Park Road and in the lot located behind the Cabin Shop Cafè
As our nation approaches the celebration of its 250th anniversary, this gathering offers an opportunity for us to reconnect with the spirit of gratitude, sacrifice and hope that has guided generations of Americans.
